Job Summary

The City of Tacoma and Tacoma Public Utilities is recruiting for a senior level GIS Analyst supporting geospatial work across many domains. On my team, the Tacoma Water GIS candidate will support our Watershed Services group in their land management, wildlife ecology, and field biology efforts through web/mobile GIS and Python automation as described in the job posting.

GIS Analyst - Water (LTE)

The City of Bellevue is recruiting a GIS Analyst to support the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project. The GIS Analyst will be a member of a larger team of GIS and Business System Analysts in the Business Systems Team in the Utilities Department. The Analyst will assist with database maintenance, cartographic displays, evaluation of data quality and completeness, and process documentation under the supervision and guidance of the Sr. Engineer Technician. Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of GIS principles and practices, be detail oriented, and have a desire to serve the public. Utilities experience is a plus. Scripting knowledge is a plus.
