Asset Analyst - City of Sequim

Help the City of Sequim make smarter, data-driven infrastructure decisions by serving as our Asset Analyst—maintaining and analyzing asset information to support maintenance planning, capital investment prioritization, and reliable Public Works service delivery.

 

Under general supervision of the Business Assets Senior Manager, the Asset Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing asset management principles and practices in all divisions of Public Works Department. This position develops, recommends, and implements Asset Management policy and strategy for the Public Works Department. They oversee the methods for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data used to support complex risk-based decision making using accepted asset management principles and practices; develop and coordinate data collection programs related to Public Works operations; support strategic planning and prioritization and oversee the use of specialized software for data collection and reporting. This position leads the work of staff in documenting and developing asset management processes and continuous improvement processes.

 

Salary range: $81,972.00 - $106,558.40 Annually plus comprehensive benefits package
