The Washington GIS Association (WAGISA) invites you to submit a proposal to conduct a workshop on May 19th, our pre-conference workshop day. Whether you are passionate about data workflows, application development, spatial analysis, or emerging technologies, we want to hear from you. All submissions are welcome.

Workshop Format

Half Day: 8:30-12:00 or 1:30-5:00

Full Day 8:30-5:00

Workshop presenters will receive a portion of the proceeds from the workshop. The amount will vary based on enrollment numbers. Organizers will be in touch after submissions to work out specific details. Attendance at these workshops averages 10-50 per workshop.

Implementation Topics: Transportation, Asset Management, Emergency Services, Mobile GIS

Data Topics: Open Data, Database Storage, Hands-on Coding

Process Topics: Map Production, Data Creation, Communication, Branch Versioning

Developer Topics: Python, R for ArcGIS, Portal, Model Builder, Customizing Apps, Open Source Solutions

Past Workshops Have Included

GIS Ethics, Utility Network, ArcGIS Velocity, Indoor GIS, Change Management, Drones, GISP Portfolio, Imagery Workflow, Experience Builder, Spatial SQL, and Young Professional and WGGL meetups
