WAGISA supports and encourages professional growth in the GIS field through continuing education, communication, advocacy, and service to its members.  GIS professionals use geospatial technology to solve regional and local issues in the fields of planning, transportation, public works, the environment, emergency services and utilities.  We are a 501 non-profit association. 

2024 Salary Survey of GIS Professionals

  

In the summer of 2024, URISA, now known as the Geospatial Professional Network, commissioned Research USA to conduct a survey of individuals in the geospatial profession in order to learn more about the salaries, demographics, job requirements, and current benefit plans offered to GIS professionals.
